Sato Prints Return & Exchange Policy

At Sato Prints, we are committed to delivering high-quality 3D printed items and excellent customer service. Because our products are made-to-order and often customized, our return policy reflects the unique nature of 3D printing.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged, broken, or with a manufacturing defect.

  • Incorrect Order: If you received the wrong item (e.g. incorrect size, color, or design).

  • Non-Custom Items: Only non-customized, non-personalized items may be returned for change of mind.

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for the following:

  • Custom or personalized 3D printed items

  • Items damaged due to mishandling or misuse after delivery

  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

3. Return Window

  • All return or exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

4. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at prints.sato@gmail.com or WhatsApp us at +254769756543 with:

    • Your order number

    • Photos of the item (if damaged or incorrect)

    • A brief description of the issue

  2. Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be issued via mobile money (e.g. M-Pesa) or original payment method within 5-7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of damaged or incorrect items.

6. Exchanges

  • If you need to exchange an item, contact us as soon as possible.

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability and approval.

7. Shipping for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (damaged or wrong item).

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
