Sato Prints – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sato Prints. By placing an order with us, using our website, or engaging our printing services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Sato Prints.

  • “Client”, “Customer”, “You” refers to any person or business placing an order with Sato Prints.

  • “Products/Services” means all printed materials, digital designs, and related services we provide.

2. Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be confirmed in writing (email, WhatsApp, invoice acceptance, or website checkout).

  • Production begins only after full payment or a confirmed deposit as agreed.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice, except for orders already paid for or confirmed with an invoice.

3. Artwork & Approval

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate artwork, text, images, and print specifications.

  • Sato Prints is not liable for errors in customer-submitted files (spelling, colours, resolution, dimensions, etc.).

  • A digital proof (mockup) may be provided upon request. Once approved, Sato Prints will not accept responsibility for any errors missed by the customer.

4. Production Timelines

  • Standard production timelines vary by product type.

  • Timelines begin after artwork approval and payment confirmation.

  • Delays caused by customer late approvals or incorrect files are not the responsibility of Sato Prints.

5. Shipping & Pick-up

  • Delivery charges vary based on distance and courier rates.

  • Once items leave our premises, Sato Prints is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by third-party couriers.

  • Customers may choose to pick up orders directly from our shop.

6. Return & Refund Policy

Sato Prints handles every job with care and quality control. However, due to the customised nature of print products, the following policies apply:

6.1 Non-Returnable Items

Most items produced by Sato Prints are custom-made. Therefore:

✅ Printed items cannot be returned for a refund once produced, unless there is a clear error caused by Sato Prints.

✅ Personal preference changes (e.g., colour shade, size, design change after printing) are not grounds for return or refund.

6.2 Eligible Returns / Reprints

You may request a reprint or exchange only if:

  • The printed product is materially different from the approved design.

  • There is a printing error directly caused by Sato Prints.

  • The order was damaged before leaving our premises.

To qualify:

  • You must notify us within 24–48 hours of receiving the order.

  • You must return the item in unused condition for inspection.

If the error is confirmed, Sato Prints will:

  • ✅ Reprint the affected items at no extra cost, or

  • ✅ Offer a partial/full refund, depending on the situation.

6.3 Non-Eligible Situations

Refunds or reprints will not be issued if:

  • The customer approved the artwork with errors.

  • The customer provided low-quality or incorrect artwork.

  • The customer changed their mind after production.

  • Slight colour variation occurs (normal in printing processes).

  • The item was damaged after leaving our shop or by a courier.

6.4 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days.

  • Refunds are issued via the same payment method used to make the purchase unless agreed otherwise.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cancelled before printing starts may be eligible for a partial refund.

  • Orders cancelled after printing begins are non-refundable.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All designs created by Sato Prints remain our intellectual property unless purchased or transferred explicitly.

  • Customer-provided artwork is assumed to belong to the customer or to have proper usage rights.

9. Liability

  • Sato Prints is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the order in question.

10. Amendments

Sato Prints reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued engagement with our services implies acceptance of any updates.
